Bank of Ireland is embarking on a journey to transform how it develops software used to support its customers. We're looking for hands on, proactive Lead DevOps Engineers who are strategic problem solvers, but also more than capable to roll up their sleeves and implement key initiatives!
The Lead DevOps Engineer role is a senior role within the bank and you will need to be able to understand the sophisticated requirements of delivering software in a regulated environment, have a detailed understanding of the technical building blocks used to build / test / deploy our applications, and can communicate this to both a non-technical and technical audience.

BSc or MSc or equivalent experience in an Engineering based field.
Our IT Engineering & Delivery teams are responsible for designing, building, testing and delivering the technology that powers Bank of Ireland. Our teams, based out of Dublin, Ireland and Belfast, and Bristol, UK enable the bank's digital transformation by modernising platforms, improving system resilience and accelerating software delivery.
Our focus spans cloud adoption, DevSecOps, automation, cybersecurity and engineering standard processes - ensuring secure, scalable and high-performing solutions.
