What is the opportunity?

We are seeking a highly skilled Security designer to oversee the implementation of robust security solutions across our organisations infrastructure. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in security engineering, risk assessment, and modern cloud and network security practices. You will work closely with stakeholders across IT, DevOps, Compliance, and Development to ensure our systems are secure by design.

In this Role, you will

  • Collaborate with security architects on projects as needed which involves assisting them in Security Architecture design process.
  • Responsible for development and management of the new SAF Jira Framework developing standard process and practices around that to be followed by the team to make sure it is used efficiently.
  • Creating and maintaining meeting artefacts (memo, notes, and action items) for the Security Architecture Roundtable meeting.
  • Responsible for maintaining all different confluence spaces and items owned by the Security Strategy and architecture team.
  • Responsible for maintaining the security architecture framework Threat library.

You have validated experience designing and implementing secure enterprise-level architecture, and hands-on experience with threat modelling, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies.
A deep knowledge of network, application, and cloud security principles, familiarity with DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipeline security will make you stand out!
Experience working in regulated industries (e.g., finance, healthcare, government).
Proficiency with security technologies (firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, endpoint protection), is necessary to succeed in this role, as is the ability to communicate security risks and solutions to both technical and non-technical partners, and knowledge of data privacy regulations (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.).
You have strong leadership or mentoring experience in multi-functional security teams.

Essential Qualifications

  • Relevant security certifications such as SSCP, CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), CISM (Certified Information Security Manager), or equivalent.
  • Master's degree in Cybersecurity or a related discipline.
  • Additional certifications such as TOGAF, CEH, or AWS/Azure Security Specialisations are desirable but not essential.
