This role presents an opportunity to join a small, highly progressive team which plays a pivotal role in supervising and challenging ESG risks of the Group (and its customers).
The purpose of the role is to provide strong and effective second line of defence (2LOD) ESG risk oversight. We are looking for someone with significant experience of leading risk in a front line or second line of defence role, ideally in ESG risk.
A keen understanding of the Group's ESG commitments and the regulatory environment and expectations in relation to ESG risk matters.
Experience in implementing regulatory programmes or regulatory guidelines would be a strong positive.
Experience in providing risk analysis and perspectives and developing risk metrics to inform key risk and Group decisions and in reviewing and reporting on risk developments and risk appetite.
Strong influencing skills across 1st and 2nd line risk management will be a key part of the role.
You will be a critical thinker, with strong interpretation skills and an ability to influence at a senior level.
There are no specific qualifications or minimum educational requirements needed for this role.
