The Bank of Ireland IRB Programme is a multi-year project to redevelop and implement the Bank’s credit IRB model suite. IRB models speak to capital, the life-blood of the Bank, and is a high-profile initiative within the Group.
While focused on ensuring compliance with revised European Central Bank and European Banking Authority IRB Repair Programmes, we also deliver outcomes that enable targeted business growth, increased pace of customer outcomes and a simplified and more efficient future IRB process.

The IRB Programme is focused on building new models, shepherding them through the Regulatory approval process, addressing Regulatory feedback and implementing and monitoring the models on new platforms developed by the Group and the Programme.

We are looking for motivated analytics professionals with experience in credit risk and/or predictive modelling. Direct experience of IRB modelling and related regulation will be an advantage.
Strong communication and collaboration skills are important for this Programme. Critical thinking and goal focus will be key to individual success.
These roles can be done anywhere in Republic of Ireland or United Kingdom with the office locations in Dublin, Bristol and Belfast, which you will be required to travel to for in-person collaboration.
