What is the opportunity?

This is an exciting opportunity to support the Managers/Senior Business Manager in the Central South Business Banking Team located in Newry, in the management of a substantial portfolio of Business Banking customers to deliver business growth, provide excellent customer service and to ensure compliance standards are met!

Please note this is a 12 month fixed term contract, located in Newry.

In this role, you will:

  • Be a key member of our Business Banking Team and collaborate with colleagues to deliver outstanding customer service in a way that embodies our values
  • Keep up to date with Policies & Procedures and ensure compliance with all Regulatory, Operational & Conduct Risk Management requirements for your role
  • Take ownership for handling your own performance levels in a manner that delivers successful performance across the key performance areas
  • Focus on key satisfaction areas such as Right First Time and understand the implications and impacts of your own decisions on our customers and other business areas
  • Support the Business Banking Team in generating positive engagement and contributing to a high performing team

What will make you stand out?

  • A good solid understanding of Business Banking and / or Branch Banking.
  • Proven experience of working in a customer facing team in a pressurised environment.
  • Strong evidence of the ability to follow bank processes and procedures and compliance requirements with a high level of accuracy for example, account opening, credit management
  • Proven track record of finding opportunities and engaging with customers on both a reactive and proactive basis.
  • Good teammate, evidenced by ability to work collaboratively & supportively with management and colleagues

Business Banking Growth NI is a key part of the NI franchise and is responsible for growing our share of and return from the business market by providing a range of business products and excellent customer service to businesses across NI, through our Business Banking teams.

This is a hybrid role, based primarily at Newry branch. We typically ask colleagues to spend a minimum of 8 days per month working in-person to support collaboration and connection. Specific arrangements will be confirmed by your recruiter to ensure they meet the needs of the role and team.
