What is the opportunity?

The team's role is to manage a substantial portfolio of large value connections with a focus on maintaining the highest standards of relationship management and meeting clients' financing needs with continued excellence in credit risk management.

You will have the opportunity to work closely with a deputy manager and relationship manager to provide a top class service to high value clients. This is a chance to learn about the property market and will develop real estate lending skills and expertise that can help to progress your career. You will get to work as a member of a high achieving team that is targeting significant growth in its loan book.

In this role, you will:

  • Development and maintenance of good working relationships with clients, through the provision of friendly and efficient customer service.

  • Assisting in the production of term sheets, discussion documents, credit reviews and credit applications.

  • Construction and analysis of cash flow models

  • Supporting in the collation of management information reports

  • Contributing to the achievement of financial targets, risk management controls and compliance standards.

What will make you stand out?

  • You possess strong communication skills - verbal and written.

  • Superb credit or report writing experience

  • Ability to analyse and interpret financial information.

  • Ability to deliver within timeframes while handling conflicting priorities.

  • You thrive on customer success.

While not crucial to apply the following would be a plus!

  • Business or corporate banking experience.

  • Credit evaluation skills, ideally in lending to the property sector.

  • Knowledge of accounting and law relating to banking and finance.

  • Understanding of the Bank's credit policy, processes systems and compliance requirements.

  • Experience in the provision of top quality customer service.
