What is the opportunity?

This is a great opportunity to join Bank of Ireland Investment Markets as an Investment Development Manager within the Investment Solutions team. You will play an important role in shaping and delivering innovative investment propositions across pensions and investment products. Working as part of a collaborative team, you will help drive product development, support strategic priorities, and ensure solutions meet customer needs and regulatory standards.

In this role, you will:

  • Support the development and improvement of investment and pension propositions through strategic investment reviews and analysis
  • Contribute to the delivery of new product initiatives, working with internal teams and external strategic partners
  • Ensure all product development activities meet regulatory, risk and governance requirements
  • Assist in leading the end to end product development lifecycle, including onboarding new solutions
  • Develop clear and engaging supporting materials to assist with product launches and ongoing communication

What will make you stand out?

You bring experience in investment product development, ideally across life and or pensions products. You are comfortable working with complex information and can communicate insights clearly, both verbally and in writing.

You have strong organisational skills and can prioritise multiple tasks while delivering to deadlines. You pay close attention to detail, particularly when working with documentation and processes.

You also have a good understanding of investment strategy and the regulatory environment, and enjoy working collaboratively with a range of partners.

Experience with the following will help you stand out but is not required to apply for this role:

  • 5+ years' experience in investments or pension consulting
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills, including strong Excel proficiency
  • The ability to assess business proposals and form clear investment perspectives
  • Experience building and maintaining professional working relationships
  • Confidence working with multiple partners with different priorities

Essential qualifications

Degree in Business, Finance or a related quantitative field; CFA or Part Qualified Actuary desirable. QFA or APA or willingness to pursue

Bank of Ireland Investment Markets is the investment centre of excellence within the Wealth Division. The team supports one of the most comprehensive savings, investment and pension offerings in the Irish market.

This is a hybrid role, based primarily in Dublin. We typically ask colleagues to spend a minimum of 8 days per month working in person to support collaboration and connection. Specific arrangements will be confirmed by your recruiter to ensure they meet the needs of the role and team.
