What is the opportunity?

This is an opportunity to lead strategy, product innovation and market insight to improve retirement outcomes for customers while supporting sustainable business growth. Corporate Pensions is a key growth area for Bank of Ireland. As Head of Pensions Product, you will develop the future of workplace retirement savings in Ireland. You will lead the development of our corporate pensions offering for New Ireland, ensuring it remains customer focused, competitive and aligned with evolving employer and member needs.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead the strategy and ongoing management of the Corporate Pensions product portfolio, including the Master Trust, ensuring strong customer outcomes and commercial performance
  • Drive product innovation and growth using customer insights, market trends and regulatory developments, including Auto Enrolment
  • Own the full product lifecycle, from design and pricing to performance monitoring, governance and continuous improvement
  • Build strong partnerships across Operations, Technology, Compliance, Sales, Marketing and external providers to deliver key initiatives
  • Lead and develop a high performing team, fostering collaboration, accountability and continuous learning

What will make you stand out?

You bring strong experience in Corporate Pensions, Workplace Savings or Employee Benefits, with a track record of delivering successful products and propositions.

You understand the pensions landscape, including structures, investment solutions, legislation and regulatory frameworks such as IORP II (Institutions for Occupational Retirement Provision Directive).

You combine strategic thinking with commercial awareness and are comfortable leading innovation in a regulated environment.

You build strong relationships across teams and influence stakeholders to deliver shared outcomes. You also support and develop others, creating an inclusive and positive team environment where people can grow and perform at their best.

Essential qualifications

Degree (or equivalent experience) in Business, Finance, Economics, Actuarial Science or related field.

Qualified Financial Advisor (QFA).

You will join a growing Product Management team within the Wealth and Insurance division. The team focuses on delivering meaningful outcomes for customers and supporting the Group's long term strategy. You will work closely with colleagues across the organisation to design and evolve products that are sustainable, compliant and relevant in a changing market.

This is a hybrid role, based primarily in Dublin. We ask colleagues to spend a minimum of 8 days per month working in person to support collaboration and connection. Specific arrangements will be confirmed by your recruiter to ensure they meet the needs of the role and team.
