What is the opportunity?

Bank of Ireland Insurance Services is evolving its technology and general insurance offering to better meet the needs of our customers. As a Digital Product Manager, you will play a key role in crafting and delivering this change. You will define priorities, lead delivery, and improve digital experiences that make it easier for customers to access and use our products. This is an exciting opportunity to influence how insurance is delivered digitally and contribute to the continued growth of our business.

In this role, you will:

  • Define and deliver the digital product vision and strategy, aligning priorities to customer needs and business goals
  • Lead digital change initiatives, working closely with business, technology and external partners to deliver outcomes
  • Translate customer and business needs into clear product requirements, user stories and sprint goals within an Agile environment
  • Use data and insights to improve digital journeys, enhancing customer experience and performance
  • Support growth through digital channels by improving conversion, simplifying processes and ensuring regulatory compliance

What will make you stand out?

You bring proven experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner, with a strong focus on delivering digital change that improves customer outcomes. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, balancing priorities while maintaining quality and focus.

You build strong working relationships and can translate complex business needs into clear, actionable plans. You enjoy working in Agile teams and continuously look for ways to improve how work is delivered. A good understanding of governance and regulatory requirements helps you identify opportunities while ensuring compliance.

Experience with the following will help you stand out but is not required to apply for this role:

  • Experience in insurance or financial services
  • A track record of delivering digital adoption or customer journey improvements
  • Familiarity with tools such as SQL, Visio, and process design approaches

Essential qualifications

  • BSc in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.

Bank of Ireland Insurance Services (BIIS) supports customers by providing a broad range of general insurance products through digital channels. The team works collaboratively across product, technology and business areas to deliver simple, effective and customer-focused solutions.

This is a hybrid role, based primarily in Dublin. We typically ask colleagues to spend a minimum of 8 days per month working in-person to support collaboration and connection. Specific arrangements will be confirmed by your recruiter to ensure they meet the needs of the role and team.
