What is the opportunity?

Join our Global Acquisition Finance team in Paris and gain hands-on experience supporting the financing of leveraged buyout (LBO) transactions across Europe. Working alongside experienced professionals, you will contribute to the assessment, structuring and execution of complex acquisition finance deals backed by leading private equity sponsors. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your credit analysis, financial modelling and transaction execution skills while building a strong understanding of leveraged finance in a collaborative, high-performing environment.

In this role, you will:

  • Support the evaluation of acquisition finance transactions by reviewing, interpreting and challenging financial information, due diligence reports and other transaction materials.
  • Assist with the preparation of internal credit applications, including analysis of industry dynamics, business performance, market positioning, leverage levels and key transaction risks.
  • Build and maintain financial models and projections to assess transaction performance, debt capacity and cash flow generation.
  • Prepare presentations for clients and internal stakeholders, including company overviews, financing structures, market analysis and transaction recommendations.
  • Support transaction execution by maintaining deal tracking information, assisting with legal documentation and contributing to compliance and operational risk activities, including Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements and regulatory filings.

What will make you stand out?

You are naturally curious, analytical and comfortable working with financial and business information. You enjoy understanding how businesses operate, identifying risks and using data to support decision-making.

Strong attention to detail, a structured approach to problem-solving and the ability to manage multiple deadlines will help you succeed in this role. You will also be a collaborative team player who communicates clearly and builds positive relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders.

Experience with the following will help you stand out but is not required to apply for this role:

  • Corporate finance, investment banking, private equity, audit, transaction services or leveraged finance experience.
  • Financial modelling and financial analysis skills.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and credit assessment methodologies.
  • Experience reviewing due diligence materials and transaction documentation.
  • Fluency in both French and English.
