What is the opportunity?

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Corporate & Commercial Banking division as a Manager in the Aviation, Multinationals and Semi State team. Based in Dublin, this role offers hands on exposure to a varied corporate customer portfolio and the chance to build deep relationship management, credit and commercial skills. You'll work closely with experienced colleagues in a supportive, high performing environment while developing capabilities that will support your longer term career in corporate banking.

In this role, you will:

  • Support the Team Lead in managing a diverse portfolio of corporate customers across multiple sectors and facility types.

  • Identify and progress business growth opportunities within the portfolio, including cross selling Bank of Ireland products and services.
  • Build strong working relationships internally across Corporate Banking, Credit, Global Markets and the wider Group, and externally through customer engagement.

What will make you stand out?

You bring a customer focused mentality and enjoy building trusted relationships. You're commercially aware, curious and keen to understand customers' businesses and evolving needs. Strong communication skills help you explain risk, opportunity and solutions in a clear and balanced way. You work well as part of a team but are also comfortable using your own initiative, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.

Experience with the following will help you stand out but is not required to apply for this role:

  • Commercial or corporate banking experience.
  • Credit analysis and financial assessment skills.
  • Familiarity with Bank of Ireland systems such as BIPS, LOCUS, KYCNet, ACBS or COL.
  • An interest in using AI and new tools to improve how work is done.
