What is the opportunity?

The AI Centre of Excellence (CoE) is the Bank's powerhouse for safe, responsible and scalable AI adoption. It sets the vision, standards and governance that shape how AI is built and deployed across the organisation, while providing the platforms, expertise and partnership needed to turn ideas into high value outcomes.

This role is the engine that turns AI investment into real, measurable business impact. By owning value assessment, prioritisation and benefits tracking, you shape which AI initiatives get funded and how success is defined across the organisation.

It's a chance to influence senior leaders, challenge assumptions and embed a value first attitude at the heart of the AI portfolio. Sitting at the crossroads of strategy, finance and delivery, this role gives you a front row seat and a crucial voice in how the Bank harnesses AI to drive meaningful outcomes.

In this role, you will:

  • Own and continuously refine the AI value assessment and prioritisation framework, owning the AI Value Forum and ensuring investment decisions are grounded in robust, transparent cases.
  • Maintain portfolio level ROI reporting and dashboards, challenging value assumptions and tracking realisation from intake through PoC, launch and BAU.
  • Partner across Finance, Delivery, Operations and business divisions to ensure timelines, scope, resources and business cases align with financial standards and maximise value.
  • Develop value measurement methodologies for different AI archetypes, advise teams on structuring and realising business value, and contribute to AI value thought leadership.

What will make you stand out?

  • Experience in case development, value management or financial analysis, with strong financial competence to build, challenge and validate complex investment cases.
  • Solid understanding of AI and data concepts, paired with excellent analytical skills to turn financial and operational data into clear insights.
  • Strong stakeholder influencing and communication skills, including executive level reporting and the confidence to challenge senior assumptions.
  • Commercial, pragmatic approach with desirable experience in regulated financial services.

Essential Qualifications

There are no specific qualifications or minimum educational requirements needed for this role.
