What is the opportunity?

Are you ready to play a pivotal role in enhancing our Originate-to-Distribute capabilities in line with the Corporate & Commercial Bank's strategic vision? We're looking for a dynamic professional to lead the charge in driving ratings excellence across capital structures and unlocking greater value in Broadly Syndicated Loan (BSL) trades.

This is your opportunity to influence deal economics, secure enhanced roles, and be at the forefront of strategic growth in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.

In this role, you will:

  • Assessment of Corporate and Instrument Ratings for Capital Structures
  • Facilitating the relationship between Issuers and Ratings Agencies
  • Ability to lead the issuer through the ratings process and subsequent maintenance
  • Assessment, structuring and execution of European Leveraged Acquisition Finance trades.
  • Ensuring the highest standards of regulatory and risk compliance

What will make you stand out?

  • Significant experience of Capital structuring and Ratings Assessment in the European Leveraged Finance
  • Deal assessment and execution experience
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, financing structures and debt instruments

Corporate & Commercial Banking Division combines all of the Banks business and corporate banking customers in one division alongside a range of market services in core markets of Republic Of Ireland, UK, USA and selective European offices.

The division consists of c1,100 colleagues serving all customer types from SMEs to national and international corporates alongside financial sponsors, with total lending in excess of €21bn.

Global Acquisition Finance is a €6.0Bn asset business providing a full range of debt facilities to support private equity sponsored leveraged financings. It is a core franchise business with c.100 staff. The business has a large geographic footprint with offices in Dublin, London, Paris, Frankfurt, Madrid, Stamford and Chicago.

This is a hybrid role, based primarily at Gresham Street, London. We typically ask colleagues to spend a minimum of 8 days per month working in-person to support teamwork and connection. Specific arrangements will be confirmed by your recruiter to ensure they meet the needs of the role and team.
