What is the opportunity?

We are looking for a proactive and customer focused individual to become part of our high preforming team of Mortgage Broker Specialist. This is a fast paced environment where your contribution will help deliver outstanding service and expert guidance to our panel of brokers at every stage of their customers mortgage journey. You will be part of a team that values continuous improvement, collaboration, and making a meaningful impact.

In this role, you will:

  • Package and submit mortgage applications to Credit on behalf of Brokers, including complex cases such as self-employed applicants, company directors, portfolio investors, multiple property owners, and self-build projects.
  • Drive the achievement of mortgage targets by ensuring applications are managed accurately and efficiently, meeting agreed service level agreements with minimal need for rework.
  • Act as a key point of contact for Brokers from initial application through to mortgage drawdown, offering mentorship, support, and constructive feedback to help assess and enhance proposal viability.
  • Build and champion strong relationships with your Broker panel, fostering trust and collaboration to support channel growth and increase market share.
  • From time to time, you may also be asked to support other areas within the department to help meet the business needs and ensure a seamless customer service.

We're looking for a proactive self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and demonstrates strong problem-solving abilities. You should be comfortable working independently while also contributing positively to a collaborative team culture. A hardworking and accountable approach, with a willingness to take ownership, is key to success in this role. A solid understanding of the mortgage industry and the Irish property market, including current trends, competitor offerings, and pricing strategies. Proven experience and credit knowledge in packaging mortgage applications, particularly in complex scenarios. You must be flexible and comfortable working across different teams as business needs envolve.

Essential Qualifications

  • A QFA (Qualified Financial Adviser) designation is preferred. However, we will accept applications from individuals who hold APA (Accredited Product Adviser) qualifications in Loans, Regulations, and Investments.

Home Buying sits within Retail Ireland and is responsible for the improvement and implementation of the strategy for mortgage loans in the Republic of Ireland, to include all aspects of mortgage markets, risk profile, returns, costs, fulfilment, servicing and market positioning.

This is a hybrid role, based primarily in Tallght. We typically ask
colleagues to spend a minimum of 8 days per month working in-person to support
collaboration and connection. Specific arrangements will be confirmed by your recruiter to
ensure they meet the needs of the role and team.
