What is the opportunity?

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the team reshaping the use of Cloud in the leading Irish Bank and enable the digital transformation for our customers. You'll join a group of talented engineers and architects who are building native features in a fresh built platform helping teams across the bank use cloud safely and efficiently.

In this Role, you will:

  • Build and manage AWS infrastructure using IaC technologies (mainly Cloud Formation)
  • Automate deployments with CI/CD tools
  • Add new features to our cloud platform
  • Set up monitoring and improve system performance
  • Help manage cloud costs and support incident response
  • Work with internal customers to improve how we use the cloud

What will make you stand out?

Significant experience of cloud technologies, especially AWS and native services is crucial (Azure DevOps and Terraform will also help you stand out).

Experience of implementing and operating resilient and highly available systems at enterprise-scale.

Strong background in infrastructure management and design, with proven experience of best of breed solutions for security, scalability and cost management will make you stand out!

Experience with scripting technologies (such as bash, python)

Comfortable working in Agile teams with working knowledge for Agile processes and tools required to promote this methodology.

Understands risk and operating in a regulatory sector.

The following is not necessary to apply, but will make you stand out:

  • AWS Certification on DevOps, Architecture or Development
  • Development of CI/CD pipelines, particularly with native AWS services (Code Build, Code Pipeline, Step Functions)

The Cloud Centre of Excellence (CCoE) is a cross-functional team responsible for developing and managing the cloud platforms, governance, and best practices that the rest of the organisation can demonstrate to transform the business using the cloud. The CCoE helps lead the organisation in cloud adoption, migration, and operations ensure the strategy executions and the benefits of the cloud.

This is a hybrid onsite role and can be done anywhere in the Republic of Ireland with the primary office location as ITC, Cabinteely, Dublin 18. Travel will be required for in-person collaboration - exact frequency to be agreed with manager. #LI-HYBRID #IJ-HYBRID
