What is the opportunity?

This is an exciting high impact opportunity to shape a major savings platform transformation, ensuring risk, compliance and customer outcomes are built in from design through to delivery. You will work closely with senior colleagues, influence key decisions, and help bring a compliant, customer centric proposition to market. It's an exciting role where you can drive strong risk practices while contributing to a complex, fast paced programme!

This is a 12 month fixed term contract role based in Belfast or London.

In this role, you will:

  • Deliver programme wide risk and compliance oversight, ensuring alignment with regulatory, policy and control requirements across products and customer journeys
  • Review product specifications and platform configurations to ensure solutions meet risk and compliance standards
  • Support governance and oversight by working with functional leads to manage dependencies, mitigate risks and inform decisions
  • Lead regulatory approvals and conduct requirements, including Financial Promotions, Consumer Duty and Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA)
  • Produce clear risk reporting and insights, maintaining visibility of key risks and supporting improvements in risk management practices

What will make you stand out?

You bring experience in risk, compliance or controls within financial services, ideally with exposure to retail banking or savings products. You are confident working across product development, propositions and customer experience, with a strong understanding of UK regulatory frameworks such as Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) rules, Consumer Duty and financial promotions.

You are comfortable working on large transformation programmes, contributing to governance and regulatory processes. You build strong relationships across first and second line of defence (1LOD and 2LOD), and communicate clearly with senior stakeholders. Your analytical mindset helps you interpret risk data and provide meaningful insights that support decision?'making.

Experience with the following will help you stand out but is not required to apply for this role:

  • Working with technical teams or understanding product development technology
