What is the Opportunity

Become a Scrum Master at Bank of Ireland in Dublin, Ireland, and join a dynamic team crafting the future of finance. In this position, you will help guide several Scrum teams to deliver digital solutions successfully. You will ensure clear priorities, timely delivery, and removal of obstacles. You will also maintain focus, handle risks, and share insights with senior leadership to strengthen our Agile function.

In this role you will:

  • Lead and mentor multiple Scrum teams in achieving the product backlog, supporting the removal of any impediments that may affect progress during each Agile delivery cycle
  • Function as a Scrum facilitator and facilitative leader for the teams.
  • Provide strong attention to detail in all aspects related to the position
  • Support the Delivery Lead in running roadmap results.
  • Coordinate short- to mid-term roadmap planning and execution.
  • Partner closely with the Product Owner to ensure work is delivered within agreed SLAs.

  • Strong experience working on high-quality digital projects using Agile methodologies.
  • Comfortable navigating and collaborating within Waterfall or hybrid delivery environments.
  • Confirmed understanding of technology delivery practices and emerging industry trends.
  • Skilled in mentoring teams to improve delivery efficiency.
  • Confirmed ability to support partners and build strong, positive relationships.
  • Able to work independently, demonstrating good judgement to drive progress.
  • Champion a thoughtful, detailed, and genuinely can?'do approach that helps teams feel supported and confident in their delivery.
  • Be a self?'starter who brings meaningful Agile experience and a clear, grounded understanding of the Scrum Master role, enabling teams to work with clarity and ease.

Essential Qualifications

  • Scrum Master or Agile delivery certifications (e.g., PSM II, SAFe, A?'CSM).
  • A degree in IT, Software Engineering, or a relevant business subject area, or equivalent experience.
