What is the opportunity?

The AI Centre of Excellence is the Bank's powerhouse for safe, responsible and scalable AI adoption. It sets the vision, standards and governance that shape how AI is built and deployed across the organisation, while providing the platforms, expertise and partnership needed to turn ideas into high value outcomes.

Your role will be to provide end-to-end oversight and coordination of AI initiative delivery across the Group. The role acts as the delivery control tower for the AI Centre of Excellence (CoE) managing the AI initiative pipeline, coordinating across pathfinder pods and enabling functions, running planning increments, and proactively advancing blockers. The role owns demand management and prioritisation across active delivery, ensuring initiatives progress on time and in line with technical standards and enterprise governance requirements.

This is your chance to drive progress across sophisticated, multi-stream programmes, setting the pace, sharpening delivery standards and embedding governance that actually empowers teams rather than slows them down. If you love orchestrating moving parts, solving problems before they surface and enabling people to deliver their best work, this role puts you right where the action is!

In this role, you will:

  • Own and maintain the AI CoE delivery pipeline, ensuring a consolidated view of all active, planned and backlogged initiatives.
  • Coordinate end to end delivery across pathfinder pods, platform engineering and enabling functions, running structured planning increments and delivery ceremonies.
  • Lead delivery risks, blockers, dependencies and issues, maintaining key governance artefacts and increasing where needed.
  • Ensure platform readiness by partnering closely with the AI Platform Owner and driving consistent delivery standards, tooling and ways of working.
  • Support governance and reporting, preparing content for forums (SteerCo, ARB, InfoSec) and providing accurate status updates to senior partners.
  • Build strong cross functional relationships and contribute to continuous improvement as the CoE scales.

What will make you stand out?

  • Proven delivery management experience in technology or data driven environments, with strong agile delivery knowledge (PI planning, Kanban, sprints).
  • Ability to coordinate multiple concurrent workstreams, manage delivery pipelines, demand intake and resource allocation.
  • Strong communication and partner leadership skills, able to work effectively across technical and non-technical groups.
  • Disciplined approach to governance and documentation, maintaining delivery artefacts and ensuring quality and risk standards are met.
  • Familiarity with AI and data delivery, including awareness of model lifecycles and governance requirements; financial services experience is a plus.

Essential Qualifications

There are no specific qualifications or minimum educational requirements needed for this role.

More about the team

This is a hybrid role, based primarily in Dublin. We typically ask colleagues to spend a minimum of 8 days per month working in-person to support teamwork and connection. Specific arrangements will be confirmed by your recruiter to ensure they meet the needs of the role and team.
