What is the opportunity?

We are seeking a dynamic Head of Procurement Services Hub to lead the Group's operational procurement ecosystem. The role ensures efficient delivery of supplier integration, sourcing oversight, procurement operations, data quality, and reporting within policy and regulatory guidelines. This role provides a scalable, well-controlled service that enables Strategic Sourcing, Category Management, and Supplier Risk Management to deliver commercial value.

This role will drive operational excellence, strengthen governance, and deliver high-quality reporting across our organisation. This role is ideal for someone who combines analytical strength with strong commercial awareness and the ability to influence partners at all levels.

In this role, you will;

In this position, you will use your advanced analytical capability to produce accurate, insightful reporting and operational MI that supports senior leaders and Board committees. You will bring a deep understanding of procurement processes and control environments, enabling you to optimise operations, enhance consistency, and ensure robust risk management.

Success in this role requires exceptional collaboration skills. You will work closely with colleagues across business, risk, finance, and technology functions, building productive relationships that support effective decision-making. A strong grounding in governance and compliance is crucial, along with the ability to interpret and apply regulatory obligations related to sourcing and supplier management.

We are looking for a confident leader who can motivate teams, set clear expectations, and cultivate a culture of continuous improvement. Your commercial awareness spanning procurement levers, cost drivers, and contracting processes will support the development of category strategies and informed sourcing decisions.

Essential Qualifications

  • Qualification in Business, Finance or related field

  • A professional qualification in Procurement e.g., CPSM, CIPs, IIPMM

  • Strong experience in procurement operations, sourcing processes, Operations Leadership, or supply chain management, ideally within a regulated financial services environment.

  • Clear comprehension of procurement governance, sourcing controls, and regulatory expectations.

  • Experience leading operational procurement teams within a complex organisation.

  • Proven track record to handle senior partners and collaborate effectively across multiple functions.

  • Experience with procurement systems and enterprise tools (e.g., Coupa or equivalent).

As part of Shared Services within the Enterprise Services team, we play a central role in facilitating the efficient and effective purchase of goods and services. Our focus is on maximising value from the Bank's total spend, strengthening our relationships with critical partners, and ensuring the organisation is protected from supplier-related risks.

Ultimately, we help the Bank buy better, work smarter, and operate safely so that every euro spent supports strategic outcomes and delivers lasting value.

This is a hybrid role, based primarily at Baggot plaza, Dublin. We typically ask colleagues to spend a minimum of 8 days per month working in-person to support collaboration and connection. Specific arrangements will be confirmed by your recruiter to ensure they meet the needs of the role and team.
